The rapper planted a kiss on the pop icon ahead of her headlining performance

Cher soaked up some quality time with boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards before her headlining performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the music icon, 78, and her music executive beau, 38, had a PDA-filled date night at the 2024 show in New York City.
The pair cuddled up to each other as they posed on the pink carpet, with Edwards even planting a kiss on her cheek at one point.
For their carpet look, Cher wore a plum blazer layered over a mesh top, which she teamed with multicolored leather barrel pants featuring zipper details. She also added more metallic details with several belts and rings, plus a pair of statement earrings.

The star’s hair and makeup, meanwhile, provided contrast — and Victoria’s Secret Angel realness — with blonde, wavy tresses and a fresh, pink-heavy glam.
Edwards kept things simple in a black suit and crisp white undershirt, which he teamed with a funky Vivienne Westwood tie and ‘90s-inspired oval sunglasses.
The stylish pair — who have been romantically linked since November 2022 — also stuck together as Cher chatted with one of the pre-show hosts, Olivia Culpo, holding hands as the singer’s responses prompted smiles from her doting boyfriend.
“I really am most excited about all the women, that it’s only women,” Cher told Culpo, referring to the show’s first-ever all-women musical lineup. “And they’re great, I’ve met them all, and we had a great time the last couple of days.”
“I’m really proud of it. I’m proud that women are being able in many ways, not in all ways, but in some ways, to find their own destiny,” she added.

Culpo then called Cher a “fashion icon, among other things,” earning an enthusiastic nod from Edwards.
The rapper also reacted after the pop icon opted not to tease her performance look at all — instead offering a humble answer. “It’s not much, it’s just OK,” she said of the ensemble, prompting laughter from her beau. “It’s not a big deal.”
“You’ll just have to wait,” she added. “Don’t expect that much, I’m going to go out there and do my best.”
