Hollywood actress Margot Robbie has announced a major career shift, following in the footsteps of legends like Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman.
At 34, the “Barbie” star has achieved a significant milestone after serving as a Chanel ambassador for over six years. Since beginning her partnership with the fashion and makeup brand in 2018, Margot became the face of Chanel Gabrielle perfume a year later. She is now representing Chanel’s most renowned fragrance, Chanel N°5.
Reflecting on this major career development, Margot expressed, “Chanel N°5 is one of the most iconic fragrances in the world. Being part of it is truly amazing. The lineage of remarkable women associated with this fragrance is impressive, and I am deeply honored to join such an esteemed list.”
Nicole Kidman starred in a Chanel N°5 campaign in 2004, with the campaign film directed by Baz Luhrmann. Other notable figures who have represented the fragrance include Brad Pitt and French fashion icon Catherine Deneuve. Margot added, “I’ve always known about Chanel N°5… It’s iconic and an iconic brand.”
