Billie Eilish is planning to stay quiet about her love life in the future.
The “Birds of a Feather” singer, 22, shared in the November cover story for Vogue that she regretted being candid about her attraction to women despite feeling “intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence” last year in an interview for Variety’s The Power of Women issue.
“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” Eilish told the outlet. “And I hope that they never will again.”
“And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again,” she added. “And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”

She attributed her change of heart to the attention she received after she made the comments, noting that she underestimated that the “things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world.”
The Grammy winner also shared that she didn’t intend to come out at the time, though she thought her fans already had some insight into her romantic preferences thanks to her music and other factors.
“I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?'” Eilish noted.
The musician, who released her third studio album titled Hit Me Hard and Soft in May, added that she’s still learning to navigate being a celebrity and plans to be more careful about her words in the future.
“We’re all babies. We’re all little kids growing up and learning ourselves,” Eilish said.
