The “Believe” singer belted out her hits on the New York City runway, capping off a lineup of all-female artists for the first time in the brand’s history
Cher hit the stage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — and the moment was every bit as iconic as fans would expect!
The pop legend, 78, took the stage on Tuesday, Oct. 15 for the 2024 show, which marked the annual runway spectacle’s return after its 2019 cancellation amid criticism for its lack of inclusivity.
On the pink carpet, Cher insisted her performance outfit was “not a big deal,” telling host Olivia Culpo “don’t expect that much” while standing alongside boyfriend Alexander Edwards.
But the all-black ensemble stood out among a sea of red models walking by Cher as she belted out two of her iconic hits: “Strong Enough” and “Believe.” She even switched out the blonde ‘do she wore on the carpet for her signature black Cher-hair.
As for her outfit, Cher lit up the New York City runway in glittery oversized cargo pants. On top, she rocked a sparkling strapless top, closed by a leather skin-showing corset. A long-sleeve cropped coat added to the layered look, while diamond jewelry — including a chunking chain necklace — gave the glam getup some extra shine.
