As the lion continued on its hunt, it suddenly found itself under attack. The swarm of bees had descended upon it, using their stingers to strike back at the predator that had destroyed their home. The lion roared and swatted at the bees with its massive paws, but the swarm was too numerous and persistent.Swarm of bees attacks snoozing lions in Kalahari Desert, in pictures | Lions, Bee, Snoozing

The bees continued their assault, their stingers piercing the lion’s thick mane and skin. Despite its size and strength, the lion was no match for the relentless swarm of bees. After what seemed like an eternity, the bees finally relented and retreated back to their hive. The lion was left battered and bruised, covered in stingers and nursing its wounds.
