Denise Richards is committed to her marriage—no matter what.
During the premiere of Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, the 54-year-old actress opened up about her stance on divorce while catching up with her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate, Camille Grammer.
As they drove around Los Angeles, Denise reflected on their shared past.
“Camille and I first met over twenty years ago,” she shared. “She was married to Kelsey [Grammer], and I was married to Charlie [Sheen]. At the time, their shows—Frasier and Two and a Half Men—were always competing at award shows.”
Camille, who divorced Kelsey in 2011 after 14 years of marriage, shared how difficult the split was for her. Denise, whose marriage to Charlie Sheen ended in 2006, related to the public scrutiny that comes with high-profile breakups.
“The judgment from other people and being made out to be this awful woman,” Denise said.
“We get tossed to the curb,” Camille added.
That’s when Denise made her bold declaration:
“I’ll never get divorced, even if we hate each other.”
A Marriage That’s Built to Last
Denise married Aaron Phypers in 2018 in an intimate, last-minute ceremony. In a confessional, the couple made it clear that splitting up is not an option for them.
“It’s not easy being married to me,” Denise admitted.
“It is not, and she said it!” Aaron joked.
“But this is it. I’m done,” he continued.
Denise doubled down:
“Yeah, I’m never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f—ing get divorced.”
Aaron agreed, suggesting a different approach:
“No, we’ll just have different homes or something. But we’re not gonna hate each other.”
Denise laughed, adding:
“We have enough homes, but yes, I agree.”
An Unconventional Living Arrangement
Earlier in the episode, Denise shared details about her unique living situation—which includes four separate homes.
“I don’t live in our house,” she revealed. “Aaron’s parents and brother moved in for what was supposed to be a few months—it’s been over three years.”
To create space, she started renting townhouses.
“I needed some space, so I rented a townhouse. Then another one. And another one.”
She explained how each home serves a different purpose:
- One is an office
- One is a studio
- One is for their daughters, Lola and Eloise
- The studio is where Aaron and Denise sleep when they want privacy
“So, we’re all over the place,” she admitted.
Despite the non-traditional setup, Denise and Aaron seem to be making their marriage work—on their own terms.
