Jadyn Cree Impresses Michael Bublé and ‘The Voice’ Coaches—Following in Her Father’s Footsteps

Michael Buble and Jadyn Cree

Jadyn Cree is making waves on The Voice—and her father, former finalist Bryan Olesen, is cheering her on every step of the way.

During the battle rounds on Monday, March 10, Cree performed Danny’s Song alongside fellow Team Bublé contestant Braxton Garza. After a stunning duet, the judges shared their thoughts, but the final decision rested with Michael Bublé.

“I thought it was flawless. Jadyn, I don’t think you know how great you are. You could win this show, for sure,” said Bublé, 49, as Olesen watched proudly from the audience.

A ‘Superstar’ in the Making

In a backstage interview, Bublé praised Cree’s star quality:

“Not only do I see Jadyn fitting in with the big pop stars of today—Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish—but she has that spark, that thing we can’t explain. And part of it is that she’s truly humble.”

Coach John Legend, who was Olesen’s coach back in Season 25, also recognized her talent, telling Bublé, “She’s going to be one of your best contestants.”

A Legacy to Uphold

Cree first wowed the judges during her blind audition, performing Paramore’s Still Into You. She earned chair turns from Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini, while Olesen—watching from the side of the stage—was visibly emotional.

Before stepping onto the stage, Cree admitted the pressure she felt following in her father’s footsteps:

“My dad definitely left some big shoes to fill. I’m excited to make him proud and try my best to get anywhere close to where he got in this competition.”

When the coaches turned their chairs, Legend had a moment of realization, saying Cree looked “familiar” before recognizing her father. He then confessed, “I have FOMO (fear of missing out).”

The Coaches React

While Adam Levine didn’t turn his chair, he later expressed his regret:

“I feel like I missed out. I think you’re going to go really far on this show because there’s nobody like you.”

Bryan Olesen, who finished third in Season 25, made his mark on The Voice, but now it’s his daughter’s time to shine.

The battle rounds continue Monday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
