Kate Hudson Still Has Baby Fever: ‘I Can’t Imagine Being Done’ Having Kids
Kate Hudson, 45, isn’t ready to close the chapter on motherhood just yet.
During a conversation with Kylie Kelce on the latest episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast, Hudson shared that she still thinks about having more children, despite already being a mom of three.
“I could have so many kids,” Hudson told Kelce, 32, who is currently expecting her fourth child. “I even think about it right now. I’m like, ‘Am I totally done?’ Because I just can’t imagine being done.”
She admitted that watching her kids grow up makes the thought of having more both exciting and bittersweet.
“It’s a weird thing to think, ‘Oh no, I’m done having kids,’ when you love having kids. It gets scarier when you have to let them go out into the world. You just hope they make good decisions and love themselves.”

This isn’t the first time Hudson has opened up about expanding her family.
During a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she shared a similar sentiment:
“I don’t know if I’m done. I’m in that place where Rani is at that age where I want another baby. But then once she gets older, I feel like my life is kind of back, and we’re in a groove. It’s weird… it’s like a window.”
In December 2022, Hudson told Byrdie magazine that she still wasn’t sure if she was done having children.
“I’ve been having children my entire adult life. I’ve got my 4-year-old, and I’ve got a kid in college. And I don’t even know if I’m done yet.”
Hudson’s Journey as a Mom
Hudson is a proud mother to three children from different stages of her life:
- Ryder, born in 2004, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson
- Bingham, born in 2011, whom she shares with former fiancé Matt Bellamy
- Rani, born in 2018, whom she shares with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa
She recently spoke with Netflix’s Skip Intro host Krista Smith about the joys and challenges of raising kids at different ages.
“I’ve got the baby, then I’ve got Bing, who’s about to hit puberty, and Ryder, who’s already an adult. Watching them thrive as they grow is the best success story of anything I’ve done.”
Even as a seasoned mom, Hudson acknowledges that parenting is always evolving.
“I feel like I think I know what I’m doing. But they’re all so different, so the way I raise Ryder is different from how I raise Bing and Rani. It’s interesting.”
Will Kate Hudson Have More Kids?
For now, Hudson hasn’t made a final decision, but one thing is clear—she loves being a mom and isn’t ruling out the possibility of expanding her family.
